How to rebuild a frameset
	What if you have a very popular page listed in a search engine, and this page is framed? Normally, if it is deep-linked, the frame will not be visualized. But you want your visitors to see the frame too, so what? Fade-in effect. Transition effect
	To obtain a fade in effect, add this formula to the HEAD <meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="blendTrans(Duration=1.0)"> as seen on: http://www.fmc.gov You may also try a transition effect, when you open a new page of your website. Meta tags
	Keywords: they help search engines to list your site. Targets
	Normally, when you click a link, the browser will open the new page and close the one you are currently visiting. Adding a target to a link in your website, you may obtain - for instance - that the visitor may see the new page without leaving yours. target="_blank" opens one more browser window target="main" opens one more browser window. If you have more target="main" in the page, a new browser window will be open for each clicked link: use carefully! With <A HREF="nuova.htm" TARGET="_parent"> a new browser window will be opened, eliminating all existing frames Inserting the code <base target="_top"> in the HEAD of the document, you will add the same target in all existing the links of the page. Trapped in a frame? Free yourself! Mailto link
	A mailto link opens the mailreader programme from your webpage. It can be used to help visitors to Tell a friend about your website, or to let them communicate with you. You may insert a line about the subject, and even some text, wich will appear in the textbox of the mailer programme. <a href="mailto:lista-subscribe@it.it?subject=Iscrizione alla lista&body=Chiedo che il mio indirizzo sia inserito nella lista di InterLex - Grazie."><img border="0" src="img/qui.gif" align="absbottom" width="19" height="12"></a> per avviare l'iscrizione alla lista</p> Put ? before the subject and & before the body. NEVER show your mail address on the website, as this makes easy to spammer crawlers to get it. Pop Up Windows
	How would you like to launch popup windows on entry? This can be done easily with Javascript. The script tag is telling the browser that a script is about to be declared or executed, and window.open is the Javascript function to open a new window. The URL is just the URL in which you want the window to display. The next part you need to be careful with. If you do not name the next part the same as the "pop1=window.open" it will not function correctly. You can replace "pop1" with anything you like. The next set of code is simply giving you options to play with the browser popup settings. Feel free to set any of these to "yes" or "no". The "pop1" and "pop2" text are called "variables". The pop2 variable is telling the browser to open a new window again. The following text is the same as the first. The only difference is the way the last string of code is displayed. We are now showing you a different way to code browser display settings. "0" is NO, or FALSE. "1" is yes, or TRUE. Tell a friend

Redirect
	Suppose you made a new site, and you left the old server. For long time your visitors will click on the old URL and they may not find anything. Loosing visitors? No way! Put at the old URL a page with few indications and this code line in, with the new URL. The browser will be automatically redirected to the new site. <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="1; URL=http://www.rh3.it">
Disable right click - Disable images toolbar on IE6
	A good way to help people from stealing your code or your images is the "disable right click" function. Favicon
	You may want to put a special icon on your website, instead of the Internet Explorer default. When you have done your Icon - or stolen it from another site ;-) like www.playboy.com/favicon.ico - and named it favicon.ico, put it in the root directory of the site, the add this line of code immediately before the </head> <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://www.yourwebsite.it/favicon.ico">
Automatic page scroller
